This is the final cover of my magazine. From the rough cut, I have changed many features on the magazine, such as the picture and background colour. In my rough cut I used a black background and a photo which looked better on the contents page. I have also added more sale lines, to attract my audience. In my rough cut I used a black background, with purple writing. I have changed this completly because I felt it didn't follow the conventions.

CONTENTS PAGE

This is the final contents page, which challenges the conventions of my style model magazines and shows which conventions I have kept the same. The contents page is full of colour, even though It Is based on a black background, allowing the colours on the background to stand out and appeal to my target audience.

Double Page Spread-Rough Cut

This is the double page spread. In my planning I had contents page numbers and have now decided to take them away as It didn't look right on the page. I have made the qoute much bigger and have started to add 'Top 5 Tips'. I have kept with the pink colour scheme.

Contents Rough Cut

This is the next verison of my contents page. I have changed the style of the page completly, and have looked at my different magazines which I researched at the start of the project for inspiration. I have followed the pastel type colours; blue, pink and green which are aimed at a younger audience, and have used a bright pink box at the bottom of the page to make the 'competition' stand out from the rest of the page.

These are some of the photos which I have taken for my music magazine, which have been taken on a black background, however I still need to take another batch of photos on a white background, as I am planning for my final piece to have a white background for a contents page and front cover. Using this contact sheet allows me to see all the photos I have taken, and shows the photos which stand out the most, and which photos do not fit in with the intentions.

Editing Pictures

I decided to do my photo shoot on a black background, however when I started editing the photos to put into my rough cut of my magazine I realised that using a black background wasn't the best choice as I was originally planning to put everything onto a white background.
